Module 1: Management (100 hours)

Designed to teach you how to manage businesses, people, money or resources, this course aims to help you understand what it takes to be a skilled, modern manager. You will learn problem solving and effective decision-making techniques, to make you a more efficient manager. Explore management theories and procedures that underpin modern management to help you make better decisions and exercise effective control.

Module 2: Leadership (100 hours)

Learn how to effectively communicate and influence as a leader and develop your skills and knowledge to manage with authority. Discover ways to improve work productivity, improve sporting performance, or help people achieve their goals in life by being a being a better leader. Explore why good communication and relationship skills are so important to be an effective leader, and better understand different approaches to thinking and learning for successful team bonding.

Assessment

Assessments are a critical step in the learning process. They help ensure you stay on track and meet the learning objectives of each lesson before moving onto the next. They also help your tutor identify where any further support may be required, so that you get the most out of your course.

You will learn via various methods; a combination of reading, interacting with tutors, undertaking research and watching videos. Each lesson will conclude with an assignment which is marked by your assigned tutor and returned to you with feedback, and if necessary, some recommended additional reading. Assessments may come in the form of – case studies, quizzes and written assessments.
