Entry Requirements

There are no prerequisites to complete this course. However, you must be able to read, analyse and comprehend, printed information in English, and to write statements and solve problems to complete the course. You must also have reliable access to a computer and a reliable internet connection and have basic computer skills.

Certificate

Upon completion of your course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Statement of Attainment for each module completed.

This foundation introductory course aims to help you understand the role a Life Coach plays to help others.

 

Course Outline

2 Key Modules, made up of 18 subjects.

Module 1: Life Coaching (100 hours)
In this introduction to Life Coaching, you will learn how important self-awareness and self-discovery is to establish a successful career as a Life Coach. When you can understand why we do the things we do, you will then be better placed to help others identify and achieve their goals, both personally and professionally. Discover the process and skills required to be a Coach and learn how these can be transferred over into your own life too. You will also develop contacts and build networks within the industry, setting you up for success in your chosen field in the real world.

Module 2: Health and Wellbeing (100 hours)
Health and wellbeing is the result of a combination of physical, social, intellectual and emotional factors that help meet the demands of living. Every aspect of our lives affects health and wellbeing. In this course, you will receive a broad and comprehensive introduction to your own health and wellbeing so you can improve your life and help others do the same. From fitness, nutrition, stress management, preventative health and basic first aid, this course is designed to give you a solid foundation which can be used in both your personal and professional life.

Assessment

Assessments are a critical step in the learning process. They help ensure you stay on track and meet the learning objectives of each lesson before moving onto the next. They also help your tutor identify where any further support may be required, so that you get the most out of your course.

You will learn via various methods; a combination of reading, interacting with tutors, undertaking research and watching videos. Each lesson will conclude with an assignment which is marked by your assigned tutor and returned to you with feedback, and if necessary, some recommended additional reading. Assessments may come in the form of – case studies, quizzes and written assessments.
