Entry Requirements
There are no prerequisites to complete this course. However, you must be able to read, analyse and comprehend, printed information in English, and to write statements and solve problems to complete the course. You must also have reliable access to a computer and a reliable internet connection and have basic computer skills.
Certificate
Upon completion of your course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Statement of Attainment for each module completed.

2 Key Modules, made up of 18 subjects.
Module 1: Wedding Planning (100 hours)
This course is designed to give you an introduction to the wedding planning industry and what is involved in successfully planning and managing a wedding, from hiring the band, liaising with the photographer, organising catering, negotiating rates for venues and equipment and much more.
You will also learn about people management and how important your relationships are with your client and your contractors. You will develop skills in how best to work with your clients, to ensure you understand what they want to achieve, manage their expectations and meet their desired outcome.
Module 2: Event Management (100 hours)
Designed to provide you with a comprehensive introduction to the event planning industry, this course will teach you how to organise and manage events, parties, concerts, exhibitions, weddings, celebrations and more. This is a course designed to develop knowledge and skills in the planning and management of events, everything from event ideation, to marketing the event, understanding and managing potential risks, managing event budgets, execution and then what happens after the event.

Assessments are a critical step in the learning process. They help ensure you stay on track and meet the learning objectives of each lesson before moving onto the next. They also help your tutor identify where any further support may be required, so that you get the most out of your course.
You will learn via various methods; a combination of reading, interacting with tutors, undertaking research and watching videos. Each lesson will conclude with an assignment which is marked by your assigned tutor and returned to you with feedback, and if necessary, some recommended additional reading. Assessments may come in the form of – case studies, quizzes and written assessments.
